One of the most morphologically diverse species of Drosera and easily one of the most overhated, this species is found in a multitude of locations in the Cape of South Africa. Plants from this location are definitely very unique, and contrast nicely with other capensis. The plants themselves are smaller, and have rather short, low growing leaves with strangely small lamina. Petioles can turn a light reddish color, while the lamina remain a light yellowish-green. I have found this plant to be slightly slow for a capensis, and I have not gotten this plant to flower yet. I highly recommend this location to anyone.
