One of the most morphologically diverse species of Drosera and easily one of the most overhated, this species is found in a multitude of locations in the Cape of South Africa. This particular clone was originally collected from the Drie Kuilen Nature Preserve, in the Klein Karoo valley. Distinguished from a more typical capensis morphology by it's shorter petioles, this plant is as easy to grow as any other Drosera capensis. The newly emerging leaves are also noticeably hairy. It has yet to flower for me and is still quite young, but I'll update with photos as the plant grows older and larger. A rewarding and unique plant any Drosera collector needs!
