This registered Adrian Slack cultivar made in the 1970s is supposed to have "hooked" leaf ends and look like the talons of a Chinese dragon. I might be blind, or not growing it correctly (or both honestly) because it looks identical to a 4 pronged multifida. Named after that fact and the name of Slack's nursery, Marston Exotics, 'Marston Dragon' is a rewarding, handsome plant. It's super easy growing, fast to propagate from leaf cuttings, and gets big quick. I've been growing this plant in my lowland tub, but it can easily be grown under lights on a grow rack or a windowsill. Wish it was less droopy though, but this may be due to the less than optimal light it receives. This plant will apparently go dormant given the conditions, but it's more of a conditional occurrence rather than a necessity of the plant.
Growing Condition: Lowland Tub, but can be grown easily on windowsills or on a grow rack.
Light: Bright light, 10" under a Yescom LED panel
Soil: Peat, perlite, sand, well draining but holds moisture well
Temperatures: Lowland temperatures 82F <, but room temperatures should work
Humidity: High humidity in the lowland tub, but generally not needed for this plant
Watering: Watered using the tray method, either sitting in 1/4" water or flooded weekly
Care Level: Very Easy
